Song of The Month

18 08 2009

I’ve been playing this song by Ms. Swift over and over again for the past weeks. It is a song that’s easy to relate to and fall in love with. The tune is catchy and the music video is absolutely simple and sweet with gorgeous people in it. Lovin’ it!

One Super Cool TV Show

4 08 2009

….that got me hooked in front of the Idiot Box nowadays is most certainly one of the dumbest and funniest TV show ever created. Never once it failed to make me laugh out loud. Both hosts are cynical and witty and most of the contestants are overly confident. In which makes it an ever more fun to watch.

As for me, the show works like a distraction. Just because office work is getting on my nerve lately, I find it really hard to focus and meet the datelines. I even dread coming to work everyday. My body screams for a break and yet it is almost imposibble to do so at present. So you see now why I need to have an object of distraction! I am pretty sure that distraction can be good sometimes, provided that it is the receptive ones. Exactly like how this TV show is doing wonders to me.

So, why don’t you people give it a try! Who knows you maybe like it like I do. :)

Reading Machines

19 06 2009

Wee-hoo, eventually I’ve finished reading the Twilight Saga : Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn in a week time.

Yup, All. Four. Books.

Yes, I know that I’m not breaking anybody’s record yet, but surely I did break mine. Especially with Lil’ Rifqi around which makes time flies a lil’ faster, reading nowadays seems to fall down almost at the bottom of my lists. How sad.

Anyway, at the end of the day, I  now realized how much I missed the good old days; of getting into good books.

The Twilight Saga really got me hooked on them and I must say that Stephanie Meyer is indeed an awesome author. Kudos.

Well, since the Twilight Saga started the reading habits  engine once again, I  figure that I should keep the motor running. Y’know,  who might have guess that by starting off with a  fiction genre, I may later move on to an even more serious subjects. As positive as I am that  it’s not going to be anytime soon, still I’m crossing fingers for miracles to take a place.

For the moment, I’m going to indulge myself with these books;

THE HUNGER GAMES

COB

CityOfAskes

These should keep me going for a while.

Cool.

Bandung Trip (Part 2)

7 06 2009

Nak menaip Part 2 ni pon, kene kumpul semangat berminggu-minggu (heh!)

Come morning, lepas siap apa yang patut, kami bertiga menapak sepanjang Jalan Dago ala-ala backpackers. Pit stop yang pertama KFC. Sebelum nak explore, mesti makan dulu, baru ada tenaga. Menu di KFC, not bad. Sedap (enough said).

Selesai sarapan, kami menapak lagi menuju ke outlet FO sepanjang Jalan Dago. Masa kami menapak ni, memang ada aje Angkutan yang hon-hon ajak naik, tapi nak adventure punya pasal, bolayan je. Patah lah jugak tangan Zam dukung Rifqi yang dah 13 kg ++. Nyeh nyeh.

Just to kill the time.

Pokoknya, semua FO kami masuk. Memang tak semua yang menarik tapi kalau tak masuk, rugi. Setiap FO, jual barang lain-lain, mostly la. Petang tu, Bandung hujan. Bila dah hujan, perut pun lapar, singgah sekejap di kafe Grande. Minum minuman resmi Indonesia – teh botol Sosro dan pisang keju. Zam makan mee goreng. Sedap! Sewius!

Takpe, banyak hari lain nak jalan-jalan, ni lah untungnya cuti-cuti Free and Easy; tak terikat dengan jadual. Nanti sambung Part 3 pula ye! Tunggu

Killing Me Softly

26 05 2009

I find it hard to fall asleep as I normally do.

Lately.

It’s been going on for the past two weeks.

The eyes just refuse to shut even if the clock strikes three in the morning.

The body (aching) and the muscles (tired); and yet it’s almost impossible to drift to Dreamland.

Owh! OK,  maybe I’m exaggerating a little.

The strikes happen alternately. In days I mean.

I woke up in the morning feeling weary and lethargic.

But still the motivation at work maintains. (Thank God)

In dealing with the insomnia, I reached out for books.

Y’know, to kill time – precisely.

And it doesn’t help either for I’ve found a series of very interesting one.

Interesting in terms of the willingness to burn the midnight oil just to finish it.

Hmm.

Well, two down and another two to go.

May this madness (insomnia/trouble sleeping) ends soon.

I’m praying.

Bandung Trip (Part 1)

18 05 2009

Seterusnya perjalanan pulang, direct flight from Bandung to LCCT, Malaysia. That was the initial plan.

Pagi kejadian, setelah jantung aku berdebar-debar sejak mencelikkan mata, kami sekeluarga telah ketinggalan pesawat. Alhamdulillah, aku redha dengan ketentuan-Nya. Mungkin ada sebab mengapa kami ditakdirkan ketinggalan pesawat. Wallahualam. Psiko eh!

Takpe, aku cakap dengan adik yang jaga kaunter tu, bookkan dulu ye, nanti akak konfirmkan. Lemme check with the OTHER airlines dulu. Aku ambil handphone, dial 103, minta operator sambungkan. Dapat talian, terus check availablity. Ada tiga flights dari KL-Bandung, 9.30 a.m. (dah terbang pun masa tu), 10.30 a.m. (konfirm tak sempat) dan yang last buat hari tu flight at 6.55 p.m. Terus decide on the last flight dan bergegas kami ke kaunter AirAsia . Adoi, kebas punggung menunggu. Nasib baik hotel kat Indonesia willing to reserve the room regardless pukul berapa pun kami touchdown di sana. Tragik!

Tak sabar nak explore Jalan Dago, esok hari. Wee-hoo…
