Keeping Up Paces

20 03 2007

I need a moment to unwind. Things are hectic in the office. Time for a break – Fererro Rocher style! *nyum nyum* I’ll jog tomorrow to get rid of the excess fats. That’s a challenge I must complete. Indeed.

Happy Birthday dear Zam, have a blessed birthday. *Mwahs*

Need A Break? Nope, I Need A Sweet Escape

14 03 2007

It is quite here. Puan, En. Razul, Kak Nik and Kak Zu went to Langkawi yesterday for a (4) four days course. There are only two officers left in the office – Anis and I. My PT kept missing in the evening because he needs to be in the clinic checking his BP reading.

I spent the whole day today checking LNPTs. It sucks! I guess everybody here doesn’t really care about their performance after all. *grunts* It’s a no brainer on why I keep singing “Sweet Escape”by Gwen Stefani. My heart screams for a break. Luckily, I get to go back to Jitra this weekend! That’s definitely something to look out for. Yippi-yay!

Gotta go home now, Anip and his wife are coming for dinner. Wondering what to cook tonight. Let the head chef decides. (FYI,I’m only an assistant). Hehehe…

Catching a glimpse outside and I see the skies are not crystal blue so I better hurry up. Enjoy your dinner, people. *wave and sing the ‘happy’ song; Woo-who, yee-who*

Footnote: Ayue is going to have her Sweet Escape next week. The destination? - LONDON-

Jinx Me :(

13 03 2007

I’ve lost two hand phones within two weeks. Call me superstitious but I believed that I’m jinxed. I can sense the negative aura surrounding me. Pooh!

It’s me to blame though. Somehow within those two weeks, I became absent minded; always find it hard to memorise things. At one point, I was grumbling about not finding my favourite pencil and then only I realised that I was actually holding it. Could this be a sign? A sign that I’m aging? Good gracious! I’m only 27!

In order to solve these temporary problems (of me not being able to remember things), I make sure that I write everything in my planner. The yellow Self-Stick Notes are posted everywhere. I know it looks messy but it does help. So, dear friends, do drop me a line and give me your contact number as I’ve lost all of it. Okay?

*sobs*

Wedding+Reunion=Awesome!

12 03 2007

I had the opportunity to attend Dr. Anjas’s wedding yesterday at Kampung Melayu Subang. Anjas used to be my so-called junior back in College 10th, UPM. I can still remember all the bitter sweet memories back then. On one occassion, Ris and I even lend our hands to catch some felines for his project. Those felines were meant to be castrated. You see, he studied Veterinar before. It’s unbelievable to see the same Anjas now standing in front of me holding his wife’s hand. Congrats Lil’ Bro. Have the best marriage life.

Tempus Fugit!*sigh*

As expected, many familiar faces turned up yesterday. The wedding worked sort of as a platform for reunion . Unfortunately, as I was being told, our beloved Bonda Dr. Mary did not make it as she had a fever, Abang Naim got to attend his cousin’s wedding, Pok Nik & Kak Nina had to babysit their newborn, same goes to Fairus and wife. However, I’m not sure what exactly happen to our one and only Suhaimi, Kak Ema, Wawa, Yorke, Hafiz and the rest of K-10 clan.??? Gone with the wind perhaps.*chuckles* Nevertheless, everything went well.

Never had I expected that Siput Sarawak (Kak Arnie) and Rock Kapak (Am) would be there! It’s been ages since I last seen them. Kak Arnie hasn’t change much. She stayed the same despite the fact that she shedded some kilo’s. Lots of ‘em. Don’t worry Kak Arnie, you are never gonna look 30, except that you can’t change the number in your id. Haha! And as for Am, I bet that you’re spotting the mod look now, aren’t you? It looks good on you even though I’m almost sure that I prefer the old version of you. Y’know with those hair dangling. Rockin!

Insya-allah, kalau tak ada aral melintang, berjumpa lagi kita hujung tahun ni di kenduri Tyco & Kak Dilla. Amin.

*Footnote : At the moment, Ris is opening a temporary gerai makan @ The Museum and I heard that Pojie is currently attached to AADK Sungai Besi. And..oh! I met Sahnawan, my former PKS – it turned out that Anjas and him were schoolmates. Cool!

Six Weird Things

2 03 2007

 RULES

The blogger who has been tagged must write a post of Six Weird Things about him/her. In the end, she/he needs to choose six bloggers to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says “you are tagged” in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

I was tagged by Chech. As a rule, I’ll  have to list down Six Weird Things about me. Here goes :-

1. Lawnmower – Big No No

I truly hate lawnmower. I think lawnmower is the most brutal machine ever made. The sound and the sight of it scares me to death. This relates to my previous experience when I was almost blind because of the machine. Uhh..maybe I exaggerate a little! Nowadays, whenever I see any body using that machine I just turn away. Better safe than sorry.

2. Spoon, Fork….et cetera

I can’t stand the sound of metal clanking together. For example, I will never use a basin with silver spoon or fork. Strictly prohibited. The thought of it simply sends shiver to my soul and down my spine. Eww!!!

3. Satsuma = Loofah

Satsuma, according to any published dictionary in the whole world; is described as a type of tangerine, or simply said – an orange. That’s the fact. However, despite knowing and understanding the meaning, satsuma in my own dictionary spells as loofah. Every time the word Satsuma is mentioned, I picture it as loofah. That’s weird, right? Totally weird, I mean.

4. Inhale, Exhale

I always forget to catch my breath whenever I’m having nervous breakdown. A jitterbug sometimes I would say. As weird as it sounds, I found out that it works as a calming effect most of the time. Hmm, folks, if you ever see me turning blue, just knock my head okay; so that I’ll remember to breathe.

5. Roaches

I know roaches are small and smelly. They are nothing in comparison to us; human. But I’m scared of them. Totally scared. I won’t stay in a room with roaches roaming around, at least not until I squash them dead (if I suddenly brave enough to do so, nyeh nyeh). I would love to find gut to face them. Hmm, maybe I should join Fear Factor and face the fear in me!

6. Dreamland

Before dozing to the Dreamland, I need to brush my feet gently against the crispy bedsheet. Until I eventually zzz… That’s really weird huh?

Now only I realise that I’m completely a weirdo! *gawk in disbelief*

* I’m tagging Shahrill, Marina, Mimi, Shahidah, Rafiqa and Beth. *wink*
