The 2nd Anniversary

This is the second time of the month when I got to stay back alone in the Office.

I took a shower and changed to casual attire for the night event – all these are done at the Office. All the officers in the Unit are assigned to monitor the final rehearsal for Sambutan Ambang Merdeka. The event is in UiTM. My…my…looks like I’ll be celebrating Independence eve there.

Today marks the 2nd Anniversary for all of us - PTD Batch 1/2005. . How time flies. Being two years in the service makes me wiser in everything that I do. I believe so. More mature. Proactive. Efficient. Though, sometimes I admit the tendency to procrastinate is damn high, yet I managed to complete all the tasks within given time. I have ONE more SKT to accomplish by the end of the year.

* I remembered blogging about purchasing a camera last year on this date. Sadly said, my camera is broken! *staring at the sky, imagining life without camera*

She’s my bestest friend. We vowed to be friends for life. We don’t call each other as often as the other bestest friend would, but deep within our hearts and souls, we know that we care for each other so very much.

I’ve lost contact with her about three years ago. Last time I remembered seeing her was @Masjid Jamek LRT Station. She was with her then fiance and now husband. I was with Zam. Oops, no! I did attend her wedding.

That was the last time I talked to her.

For all these while, I’ve always wanted to find my bestest long lost friend. But I failed to do so, due to certain unavoidable things. I’ve always fancy the idea of gathering all Padang Tembakian (is this term usable?) Class of 87-92. But all the ideas went straight to drain as soon as I started working. Can’t hardly find time to relax what more to call, find and search for everybody contact numbers.

And then, one day (it was last week, on Thursday, to be exact) I received a request through Friendster from a stranger asking me to add her as a friend. You see, I don’t usually add people whom I don’t know (yes, you can check my Friendster page, I don’t have like even 50 friends!)but upon receiving the request last week, I simply added her as my friend.

And that stranger turned out to be…
Faizah or better known as Paie to her Al-Mashorian and UIAn colleagues.
But to me, she’s always Izzah.

~Things Meant To Be Settled By The End Of This Week~

(Fuh! Finally, the paper is ready and has Puan’s approval)

2. prepare Succession Planning Paperwork

(Yup, i’m working hard on it. It’s sooo difficult to complete your work whenever the other party tends to delay the information, huhu)

3. recite Poem for Perhimpunan Kompleks E

(An ad-hoc activity indeed. I have not memorise all the words yet. In time..in time..)

4. <attend Majlis Tautan Budi

(I feel a bit reluctant to attend the event as the dress code for the night is batik. Batik kat rumah tak jahit-jahit lagi)

5. read Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows

(I am hooked on it, what else can I say? Potter rules!)
