Memerap Sokmo!

7 01 2007

A moment of silence – my condolence to Ayue who lost her Aunt recently. Al- Fatihah. Semoga roh Arwah ditempatkan bersama-sama golongan yang beriman. Amin.

I’m getting tired easily nowadays; especially during daytime. Rifqi has been throwing tantrums at odd hours now. It usually starts at 11 pm till 4 in the morning. He refuses to sleep and won’t stop crying. He only sleeps when cuddled; try putting him down – straight away he opens his eyes. Duh!

Today, Mak bought Rifqi a new set of mittens and bootees and it is pink! I told Mak that pink is always associated with girl but she said that Rifqi needs a brighter shades for his M&B collections. Enough said. Hmm, besides that Mak also bought a rocking chair, so that it will be easier for me to look after Rifqi later ( while doing the house chores). Hope that the trick will work too to calm him down at night. Zzz…

Bags? Anyone?

Women. Beauty.

Inseparable.

Being occupied most of the time has taken a toll on me. This morning, while brushing my hair, I noticed something horribble (yeah, maybe I’m making it sounds more serious than it really is). Urghh…I have eyebags! Duh, the price to pay on staying up late on a regular basis.

I remember that the last time I had eyebags was during Uni’s life. My best friend, Ris and I religiously burnt the midnight oil almost every night. Sometimes it was for studying purposes; but most of the time it was meant for leisure. Being a VCDs freak, both of us can actually watch the same movie over and over again. Especially if the hunky Takeshi Kaneshiro and Nicholas Tze starred in it (Teru Teru Bozu). We set the record straight of watching the total of 8 (eight) VCDs and I’m sure it is yet unbreakable! What a life back then huh!

Oh yeah..Ris, at last you’ve made it to Kedah babe. It was good to have you here the other day. It was even better to be able to catch up on things – the pasts and the recents. You’ve been such a good friend of mine and the memories are always treasured and cherished. Forever.

The Unwritten

3 01 2007

My days are now filled with unwritten schedule. Feeding, bathing, changing diapers…the lists went on and on.

To all my sisters, thanks a bajillion for dropping by; leaving those heart warming messages. Hmm, can’t wait to be back as well. At first, I thought that confinement period spells heaven, now I guess it is vice versa. I’m totally bored here – to the maximum. I now announce myself as a totally critical TV junkie. The must read page in the newspaper everyday would be the TV programmes, and as expected remote control is under my control! Hahaha…

Another news to share – Rifqi was born weighing 3.19 kg and now after 20 days (the last time he went for check up) he weighs about 4.1 kg. Gaining a kilo within few days. No wonder his Ucu usually makes fun of his chipmunk-like cheek. Kesian Rifqi ye…

I think it is not to late to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha and a Happy New Year! May this year will bring us happiness and joy.

A Helluva Experience

17 12 2006

My first entry after giving birth to a baby boy.

It has been 9 days since Muhamad Rifqi Naufal Bin Muhamad Nizam is born. Giving birth was really a helluva experience. I’m glad that both Zam and I made the decision to have our baby here in Kedah even though he was not around during the labor. Having my Mom besides me all thru’ the nite had somehow made it easier. Yeah, talking about the pain in my back which strikes every 10 minutes. Ay ya ya ya ya! Thanks Mak for massaging my back every now and then!

I guess what I heard before is right…having a baby does change you. It changes the way you think, it changes the way you look into things. It changes almost everything. It has made me appreciate life even more. It helps me into understanding my parents better. It made me want to live life to the fullest. It is indescribable!

Attach below are some of Rifqi’s photos. Welcome to the world my dear child!

(p/s: Thanks Ayue and Chech for dropping by. Chech! Dun forget to give me your wordpress blog address.)
